As a popular tourist venue, nearby Llangollen has an excellent range of accommodation and we use a number of local hotels to provide our in-course residential accommodation, all of which are less than 5 minutes drive from our base.

In addition to our base in Glyndyfrdwy we have a partnership with the Tees Barrage International Whitewater Centre, near Middlesborough to deliver the full range of our courses from this state-of-the art training facility.  This artificial site directly compliments the natural river venues we have in North Wales and provides guaranteed swiftwater conditions 24/7/365.  Using a fully risk assessed mounting system we can place real cars in the channels and thus deliver specialist training such as the Rescue 3 Rescue from Vehicles in Water Workshop.

We also have a partnership with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, and our confined space courses are delivered at their training centre near Stone, Staffordshire. This is an excellent training centre, with an outstanding confined space training facility.

R3 Safety and Rescue also has strong links with Plas Menai, The National Watersports Centre, near Caernarfon, North Wales where we deliver the full range of Rescue 3 powerboat rescue courses. The tidal rapids of the Menai Straits is one of the few locations in the UK that is suitable to meet the venue requirements for Module 4 of the Defra Flood Rescue National Enhancement Project standards.
