Rescue boat operations - training for emergency responders
Designed to provide personnel with the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills to safely operate powered boats in a basic (non–moving) water environment.
Provides personnel with the basic boat skills required to operate in floods and undertake flood rescue operations e.g. rescue and evacuation.
Meeting the requirement for Defra Module 4 this course covers the skills required to operate powerboats in swiftwater and high energy flood environments. It builds on skills already learnt in SRT and applies them to working from boats in swiftwater and high energy floods.
