Aimed at members of technical rope rescue teams who want to become proficient in rope access techniques and individual pick-off rescues.
COURSE CONTENT
Includes:
- Legislation, standards and risk assessments
- Rope access anchors
- Use of work restraint and fall arrest equipment
- Ascending & descending (including passing knots, passing anchors & passing deviations)
- Performing rope transfers/change overs
- Individual pick offs and lead climbing with lanyards
COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Prior experience of working with ropes is recommended
