Covers all aspects of the Safe Working at Height course as well as training participants to deal with a colleague who has fallen and is hanging in their fall arrest system.
COURSE CONTENT
Includes:
- Legislation, standards and risk assessments
- Equipment for working at height & basic anchors
- Use of work restraint and work positioning equipment
- Use of different types of fall arrest equipment
- Connecting a casualty to a rope using a telescopic pole
- Lifting a casualty using a pre-installed device
- Lowering a casualty
COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Prior experience of working with ropes is recommended
COURSE DURATION
2 days or 1 day add-on to SWAH
